Custer County Encourages Early Voter Registration!
New Federal Law requires that the newly registering voters show proof of identity and proof of residence to the County Clerk in the county in which they reside. If you elect to mail in your downloaded registration card, please supply us with a copy of your photo ID and some document which shows your physical address.
If you are not a registered voter in Custer County, are a US citizen, are 18 years or older, and have lived in the county for at least 30 days, now is the best time to register to avoid election day registration confusion!
Inquire in the Clerk's office of the Courthouse anytime Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Registration cards are also available with all cities in the county as well as the Sheriff's Office. Download a voter registration card now or visit the office during normal business hours.
